Hi Everyone,
I know most people enjoy summer, however I really don't. While I love the kids being out of school, I long for cooler temps. I love fall and the leaves changing, pumpkins, and Thanksgiving. So this card today is inspired by that.. I love Stampin' Up's glitter and always wish they made more colors. At least I got my wish with the new Holiday Catalog with the addition of orange and black(page 20, item # 132206).

Halloween Hello
Just a quick post today - sharing a Halloween sample with you. I used the silver ink in the Holiday Catalog but not really sure how well the camera is picking it up... The bat was made using the Elegant Butterfly punch and then the 3/4" circle punch to cut off the legs to make a bat shape - a tip I learned on Pinterest.
Supplies Used: Halloween Hello
Ink: Metallic Encore Ink in Silver
Card Stock: Basic Black, Brushed Silver
Accessories: Elegant Butterfly Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Chevron Embossing Folder.

Flower Shop... Again
Hi Everyone,
I really am having fun playing with this Flower Shop set. Did I mention yet that if you buy the stamp set and the matching punch together in the bundle you can save 15%? It's on page 94 in the annual catalog. I have to admit I was frustrated the first few times I tried to line up the stamps with the punch, until I found a great video on how to do it. I'll include the video at the end of this post so you can watch too. It's done by Connie Stewart who also has a great blog that I love to view: http://simplysimplestamping.com/ Anyway Taylor and I were stamping together and came up with this new sample. Hope you like it!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Flower Shop, Sassy Salutation
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Versamark
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Pansy Punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits

Flower Shop
Hi Everyone!
I have a few samples for you today. Basically the same design on both but I thought the first one was too dark and wanted to lighten it up a bit. My Taylor said she likes the lightened version much better than the first but I thought I would share both with you all. The 3rd picture is a card my Lindsay made with my Stampin' Up supplies. She especially likes the red glimmer scales and I do too! The Glimmer papers are great for any upcoming Christmas projects you might have in the works. I love that the girls like playing and creating too. My samples include the Flower Shop stamp set which comes with a coordinating punch for the flowers - I love it when Stampin' Up does that!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Flower Shop, From My Heart
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Smokey Slate, Basic Gray

Thankful
The Holiday Catalog is so packed with fantastic items, it makes it easy to miss some of things in it. I think I missed the Expressions Thinlits Dies (pg 36) quite a few times before I started to see them on other cards and went searching for them. I also used some of the Orange Stampin' Glitter (pg 20) that comes paired with black glitter as well. I love Stampin' Up's glitters since they are ultrafine and add some nice bling to any project.

Sunburst Technique
Last Sunday I was lucky enough to attend a meeting at my Upline's house. She had been at the Stampin' Up Convention the week before and had lots of great new samples to show us. She also taught us a new technique call the Starburst. I came home and tried a design of my own to show you. It's an easy technique that looks much harder to do than it is.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Delight Dozen
Ink: Basic Black
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Modern Medley DSP

Halloween Happiness
I was playing with the Halloween Happiness stamp again today and like this sample even better than the first one I posted. Pumpkins are my favorite part of Halloween so I tend to gravitate toward any stamp or stamp set that has them. I used the markers on this sample but you can easily stamp it in one color.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Halloween Happiness, Gently falling
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers, Candy Dots (love these by the way!)
