Half Full

Hi Everyone,

We are getting a pretty good amount of snow today so its a perfect day to get some stamping done.  Of course I think that everyday :)

I made today's card with one of the cutest stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog.  I just love the whole set and even though I don't really drink very often it still makes me smile.  I stamped the glasses and sayings in Soft Suede because I love how it compliments the Gold Glimmer and Cherry Cobbler.  It always feels like it has some gold undertones in it to me.

By the way, the gold and white ribbon I used on the front is one of the year end discounted items.  It adds a nice little embellishment for an inexpensive price.  Hope you enjoy!

Brightly Lit Christmas

Hi Everyone!

It's once again been a long time since I have blogged so I have 2 projects for you today!  The Brightly Lit Christmas Stamp Set is a part of the Christmas Around the World Suite and I just love all of the products in it.  This suite seems a bit old fashioned and nostalgic to me which I just love for Christmas time.  I paired the first sample with the Be Merry DSP from the Annual Catalog.  The Stamp Set has 3 wonderful sentiments in it and you could really use them all interchangeably.

For the 2nd sample, I made a pretty tall tag.  The lamppost is pretty tall so it lends itself to a long narrow tag.  You can easily chose between the single lantern and the triple.  I did mount the tag on some chipboard that I had but you can always use the Thick Whisper White Cardstock.

Hope you enjoy!

Count My Blessings

Hi Everyone,

While the flowers in the Count My Blessings Stamp Set are a real stand out, I also really liked the leaves and acorns together.  I got out my Watercolor Pencils and started coloring with this card.  I just love the pencils and would love them even more if we had more colors but you can certainly make more colors than are in the box.  For this card I first colored the leaves in Pumpkin Pie and then lightly colored over them in Real Red.  Then I just used my blender pen to blend the 2 colors together getting just the shade I wanted.  I think the fall colors look great with metallic tones so I paired it with some Copper Foil Sheets and some Copper Ribbon.

Hope you enjoy it!

Count My Blessings

Hi Everyone,

Well, today is the day.... The day everyone can order from the new Holiday Catalog!  I'm so excited for you :)  I was lucky enough to have a box of preorder supplies arrived today and it included the Count My Blessings Stamp Set.  I don't know why but I had been so on the fence about this set and now I'm so glad I bought it!  This set can truly be used year round even though I think of it as a Thanksgiving set.

For this sample I cased the catalog a little bit.  I did change up the matting a little and added some gold elements.  To get the 2 toned look in the flowers I colored with the Peekaboo Peach and then added some Pumpkin Pie.  I just love how it turned out and I hope you do too.
