Painted Poppies

Hi Everyone, 

White on white cards always intrigue me but every time I go to make one I end up adding color.   Today I just added a soft Petal Pink so its still pretty white and I do love how it came out.  I usually color in the poppies in this set when making cards but decided to just leave the outline today.  I think it added a softer look and stuck more closely to the white on white.  The Painted Poppies Stamp Set also has matching dies which I didn't use today but included in the product lists.

Beautiful Friendship

Hi Everyone,

I've had a couple of questions about the Stamparatus lately.  Sometimes you buy something and then wonder why the heck did I buy this???  In today's video I show you just 1 of the many ways to use the Stamparatus.  The Beautiful Friendship stamp set has a delicate look to it and I wanted to deepen the colors a bit so I used the Stamparatus to double stamp in the same exact place to get a bit more depth in the colors.  I also used it to add a 2nd color to just part of the stamp using a dauber.  The more I use the Staparatus, the more I just love it.  I hope you will too!

Healing Hugs and Faux Silk

Hi Everyone,

I'm sharing a technique called Faux Silk with you today.  I think I tried this technique years and years ago and found it again just browsing through the techniques on SplitCoastStampers.  It's definitely not difficult to do and it comes out so pretty.

I paired the technique with the Healing Hugs and Very Versailles stamp sets.  If you don't have the Very Versailles set I highly recommend it.  I find myself reaching for it over and over and it coordinates with many other sets.  The Healing Hugs set is a newer addition to my collection but I've already used it quite a bit.
