Christmas Gleaming

Hi Everyone, 

I am so excited today!  It's finally the day everyone can order from the Holiday Catalog and I couldn't resist showing you another sample.  I think the Holiday Catalog excitement even trumps the launch of the annual catalog for me.  

For today's card I used the Stitched Nested Dies to make a banner on the card and also did some copper on copper embossing.  It's even prettier in person, sometimes the camera just doesn't do it justice. One word of warning however - be careful when you heat emboss on foil - it can get really hot!

Gather Together

Hi Everyone, 

Do you ever just sit and look at your craft supplies and feel stuck, like you can't get an idea rolling?  I think it happens to all of us from time to time and 1 of the things I like to do to help is to look at pictures of what I have made in the past.  Sometimes its just enough to spark a new idea and get you going again.

For this card I cased a card I made from fall of 2017 and changed it up a bit using a new set, Gather Together, from the Holiday Catalog.  I made a mini collage with a few stamps and the sentiment and used Stampin' Blends to color in the bigger leaves.  The card comes together pretty quickly.

Peaceful Boughs

Hi Everyone!

I can't believe that this is my 6th post this month - just goes to show you how excited I am about the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  In my opinion this bundle, Peaceful Boughs, is a must have for your wish list.  It's so pretty and very versatile.  It will be great to use for winter scenes long after Christmas has past and it doesn't scream Christmas so you can use it for your friends that don't celebrate it. 

I used 2 different embossing powders on this card, the white and the newer white shimmer.  The white shimmer came out in the current annual catalog but I just got it and I already love it.  It's just perfect for snowy scenes.  The shimmer emboss powder also comes in black but that is still on my wish list.
