Very Versailles and Healing Hugs

Hi Everyone,

Sale-a-Bration time at Stampin' Up is always fun.  While a few things from the initial offering have sold out, Stampin' Up came out with some beautiful new items that you can earn.  One of my favorite items is the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP.  There is a mix of rose gold and silver foils on white backgrounds.  While these are beautiful as they are, I love to color them in to add some vibrant colors.  You can use any color you like making these very versatile for many projects.  Its always nice to have several uses for an item.

Birthday Bonanza

Hi Everyone,

I don't know about you but I think Stampin' Up has some of the best Designer Series Paper around.  I've never had 1 that I didn't like and I try really hard not to hoard it.  That's definitely easier said than done.  After I use DSP I tend to save all of the pieces no matter how big or small because I can't stand to throw it out.  So for today's card I used a bunch of those little pieces to add some detailing to the card.  I really like how it turned out and hope you do too!

Heartfelt

Hi Everyone,

I decided to remake a card I first made back in 2015:

Sweetheart Punch 

The 2 cards look very similar but I used new products from the Spring Catalog and did a little trick with the Detailed Hearts Die. While I have loved using this as a die, I used it to emboss today.  I love finding new tricks for products to stretch their use.  There is very little stamping on this card but the From My Heart DSP takes center stage. I just love the patterns and colors on it.

Painted Poppies

Hi Everyone,

I've been having so much fun inking up some new stamp sets from the Spring Catalog that I thought I would share another card with you.  The Painted Poppies set is just beautiful and has a coordinating set of dies so you can bundle the 2 and save 10%.  I love it when Stampin' Up has those deals.

I colored the poppies in with the Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Markers but you could easily use Stampin' Blends or even the spatter stamp in the set.  Also while I love these 2 colors together this set makes it so easy to mix and match any color combos you want to try.
