Mixed Florals

Hi Everyone,

When I was looking through my samples to decide what to post today I realized that I had a bunch of cards made from the Mixed Florals Bundle that I hadn't posted.  Traditionally I would have said that I really didn't use the floral sets too much but I have well over 25 cards made with the Mixed Florals and Gallery Bloom Bundles.  These 2 bundles look completely different but they are equally lovely.

I've been getting better at trying some different techniques with my Stampin' Blends and truly blending them.  I used to just outline in the dark shade and fill in with the lighter one but I have been experimenting blending 2 completely different colors together and I'm loving how it looks.  For the leaves and stems of the flowers I used Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green together and for the bigger flowers I used Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.  I filled the mini flowers in with Berry Burst to give it a bit of a pop.

Hope you enjoy!

Mini Alphabet Dies

Hi Everyone,

It's Pride month and I thought this card summed it up beautifully!  I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to cut out the Love is Love letters.  This die is really easy to use since you cut the letters out all at once.  It even has some duplicates of the more popular letters so I only had to run the die through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine once.  To get the background I used the heart die from the Fancy Borders Dies and layered the rainbow colors behind it.  I love the bright cheerfulness of this card and I hope you do too!

Hope you enjoy!

Gallery Blooms

Hi Everyone,

Well it didn't last too long and I decided I had to create with the Gallery Blooms Bundle again. I just feel like there are endless ideas with it and its just so beautiful.   To start I embossed a piece of the Beautiful Gallery DSP with the Damask Embossing Folder.  I then cut out the larger frame from the dies and used the White Craft Ink to create a more weathered look.  I first saw this idea from a fellow demonstrator Jaqueline Soraya.  I cut 2 of the main floral images and then used a mix of Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends for the flowers and added some Mossy Meadow for the leaves.  Various pieces of the rest of the dies were cut out in Basic White to add to the design. The smaller flower bunches were colored in with Cajun Craze and Calypso Coral and tucked into the design.  Finally I used the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set for the sentiment.

Hope you enjoy!
