Flower Patch

Hi Everyone,

     More Flower Patch fun today!  I can tell this set is going to be one of my favorites and I still haven't even used the matching framelits with it.   I teamed up Crisp Cantaloupe with Calypso Coral and Island Indigo for this sample and used the new Thick Baker's Twine too.

Bloom with Hope

Hi Everyone,

I've been having some more fun stamping with my new sets!  I used the Hostess set called Bloom with Hope for this card.  I stamped using the new Memento Ink in Black to stamp the flower on Whisper White, then used the new Blendabilities to color in.  (The Blendabilities are not available to purchase yet, but I will let you know when they are).  I fussy cut the flower and then used the Blendabilities marker to go around the edges so no white showed since I'm not the best with scissors.

Flower Patch

     I started stamping with some of my new sets out of the catalog today!  Both sets that I used on this card are photopolymer.  So many possibilities with the Flower Patch Set.   I love that it has coordinating framelits too.  I just used the stamps today but I have a feeling this will be my new "go to" set for a while.

Wetlands

Hi Everyone,

     Just 1 more day until we can order from the new catalog!  I can't wait, I keep going over and over my wish list trying to decide what to buy in the order I'm putting in tomorrow.  Too bad my budget doesn't reach as long as my list is - lol. 
    I cased another card yesterday using the Wetlands set.  The original can be found here: Rita's Creations.  I used sponging for the background instead of the aqua painters and changed the colors up a little.  I started by fussy cutting the goose to use to mask before I stamped the grasses in the background.  Cutting like that is not one of my favorite things to do, but I do like how the card came out.

Bloom with Hope

Hi Everyone,

I saw one of the nicest card made with a retiring hostess set the other day and decided to create my own version of it with the new hostess set Bloom with Hope.  Here is the original: Pandacream.  I stamped mine on vellum and then colored on the back with our Stampin' Write Markers.  The background paper of the flowers is from the Moonlight DSP Stack - I just love these papers!

Father's Day

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would share one of my Father's Day cards early.  It uses the Look up to Father stamp that is only available until June 1st.  I used markers to color the tree, grass and words so I could get different colors on the stamp.  This method would also work well if you only wanted to stamp part of the image.  It's really a wonderful tree in the stamp and one you can use over and over.

Bloom With Hope

Hi Everyone,

     Stampin' Up has some great hostess sets in the new catalog and the Bloom With Hope is by far my favorite.  The images will be great for using the new Blendabilities, but I wanted to use my new in color markers for this sample.  I am IN LOVE with the new Blackberry Bliss!  The picture came out a little dark, but I love how this card came out in person.
