Gather Together

Hi Everyone,

The Holiday Catalog is just so great I can't stop creating and wanted to share some more with you.  I am obsessed with the leaves in the Gathered Together Bundle and the leaves in it in particular.  In fact I have a pile of them cut out on my craft table in all kinds of colors ready to go.

I used a combination of Copper Foil and Pretty Peacock for the leaves and just accented them with a piece of the Brightly Gleaming DSP and love how it goes together so nicely.  Its hard to tell in the picture but in the video I share a tip for getting the leaves to have a more two toned look to them.  All it takes is a bit of spritzed water.  I think my favorite part of the card is the Delacata Metallic Ink in Copper.  I could kick myself that I only got it in the copper but the gold and silver are on my next order.  It's just even prettier in person.

Stargazing & Little Twinkle

Hi Everyone,

While my summer is a little calmer at the moment I've been trying to post a bit more.  I've been going back and forth between the Annual Catalog and Holiday Catalog because I ordered a bit late from the Annual so those items seem fairly new to me too.

For this card I mixed a new set with a continuing set from last years catalog.  I think they pair very well together and you could come up with some wonderful designs.  I've been very into embossing lately and this card is no exception.  I paired Pretty Peacock and Crushed Curry together and I just love the color combo!

Christmas Gleaming

Hi Everyone, 

I know its early but I just can't help it.  I'm already making Christmas cards....

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is the ability to preorder supplies a full month before they are available to everyone.  Once I have some, there is no stopping me from using them :)

I got some inspiration for this card from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  I would say this card is totally quick & easy but there is a bit of fussy cutting which takes me a minute.  The Christmas Gleaming stamp set is just beautiful and it also has 2 matching punches for the ornaments available.  The holly leaves did have to be fussy cut but for just the 1 piece it isn't too hard.  Instead of stamping and then punching the ornaments I used some of the beautiful new DSP that will be available starting September 4th.

Everything Amazing

Hi Everyone,

I'm back today with a card from the stamp set Everything Amazing.  This is a really cute set that you can use for a variety of sentiments.  I have been very into heat embossing lately and incorporated it into this card.  I love pairing the gold embossing with Soft Suede, I just think it looks so pretty together.  I added in the very pretty pink Rococo Rose for an accent.

This set lines up really easily for me but if you are worried about getting it straight you can always use your Stamparatus.   And while there are no dies for this stamp set it really isn't too hard to fussy cut it out.  I did it quite quickly and I am not good with scissors :)

Gather Together and the Holiday Catalog!

Hi Everyone, 

I know its early.... But I just can't contain myself.  For demonstrators the new catalog is here.  We are lucky enough to be able to order a full month ahead and its never to early for Fall and Christmas crafting for me.  

While I don't have a video for this card I do have a video of my unboxing of my first order if you would like to take a peek.  I decided to start with a fall card and used so many new products.  All of the stamps on the project are from a Stamp Set called Gather Together and yes - it has matching dies!  The copper stamping on the woodgrain DSP is from a new metallic copper stamp pad and they also come in gold and silver too.  The ornate frame that the sentiment is on is actually from a die set that coordinates with a Halloween set but its just so pretty it can really be used for any occasion.  

These new products will be available to purchase on September 4th so its not too long of a wait.
